Caversham Wildlife Park & Zoo is a popular tourist attraction in the city of Perth with an estimated 200 species of animals location within the park's more than 20 acres of property. Here's your chance to see and experience the beauty of Western Australia's plant and animal up close in an interactive setting.

Caversham Wildlife Park & Zoo is situated in Whiteman Park and houses one of the largest collections of native fauna in Western Australia. It is a privately owned by David and Pat. The park is located 15 kilometres away from Perth at the entrance of Swan Valley. The zoo has a picturesque landscape, that makes a camera must when on a visit.

The zoo is a perfect menagerie of various native and exotic animals and birds. The park has bred its very own Tasmanian devils, wombats and koala. It is the only park in the world to have bred cassowaries; it has emerged in a grass owl breeding programme in association with the Perth Zoo. The park has introduced certain species of buffalo, donkeys and camel that are considered to be Australian. Presently the wildlife park features around 200 species and more than 2000 head of animals, reptiles and birds.

The park has native Australian animals and you can enjoy various activities while on a watch for these pretty creatures. The visitors can fiddle with wallaby, cuddle and feed the koalas, feed the dears and watch monkey play in the striking gardens. The park is a place for family picnics, provides on-site barbecues, has kiosk for refreshments and snacks which sells souvenirs as well. Apart from these, you can catch sheep raring demonstrations, working sheep dogs, go on a camel ride or visit Molly's Farm, Billy swinging and bottle feeding the lambs and milking of cows.

With loads of activities that enlighten people of all age groups in a serene environ, the zoo not only displays animals but also provides a fun and enlightened experience to its visitors.
