Oceanworld Manly is situated on the serene Manly cove Beach at a mere
distance of 200 meters from the Manly Wharf. It’s accessible via car as
well as ferry, which ply from Monday to Friday during the peak hours;

Oceanworld was built in 1962 as Manly's Aquarium and refurbished in 1988
as underwater world. It is presently been run by Sydney Aquarium as a
sister concern. It has the longest underwater tunnel in the world. The
tunnel is 110 meters long and showcases more than 5000 plus species.
This place boasts of the largest oceanarium in the world. The oceanarium
can hold 4.5 million litres of water and is home to the endangered Port
Jackson sharks, blind sharks, grey nurse shark and wobbegongs. It also
has giant stingrays, huge sharks, sea turtles and a plethora of marine
life with reptiles and invertebrates like tiger snakes, various lizards,
taipans, brown snakes and funnel spiders.
Apart for the wondrous wildlife view, you can go for a thrilling dive in
a shark tank. This is the Shark Dive Xtreme, all accoutrements are
provided here and expert instructors help experienced as well as first
time divers. Children too can dive in the new tropical reef to
experience snorkel safari.
